28-Port L2+ Managed 10G PoE Switch
Enhancing Network Performance
DrayTek VigorSwitch P2280x is a Layer 2+ Managed Gigabit PoE switch ideal for a network with growing network traffic. The switch has 24x Gigabit Ethernet PoE/PoE+ ports with a power budget of 400 watts and 4 additional dedicated SFP+ for 10G Fiber link.
Business can get enhanced network performance through the integrated L2 and L2+ features, it provides various types of VLAN for you to segment the local network and keep the traffic only at where it needs to go. Moreover, it supports VLAN routing to route the inter-VLAN traffic directly, shares loads of the router, and improve overall network performance.

Advanced Layer 2+ Features
DHCP Server & VLAN Routing
Improving LAN Network Sustainability and Efficiency,
with or without a Router
On a large LAN, much of the traffic goes not to the Internet but to servers on the LAN. For example, IP cameras store video on an NVR, IP phones register with a PBX, and clients access a file server.
Because it receives traffic before the router does, an L2+ switch with DHCP server and VLAN routing functions is ideal for sharing your router’s load and keeping your LAN running even when the router is offline.
As a DHCP server, VigorSwitch assigns dynamic IP addresses for up to 8 VLANs. With VLAN routing, it supports up to 512 routes.

Bind IP to MAC
Reserve an IP Address for an Important Device
As a DHCP server, the Layer 2+ VigorSwitch can reserve IP addresses for important devices that most users access frequently.

IP Conflict Detection & Prevention

Conflict Detection
VigorSwitch monitors the network and notifies the administrator of any IP conflicts.
Conflict Prevention
For a more stable network, VigorSwitch can not only detect but also block misconfigured or malicious IP hosts.
ONVIF-Friendly
Recognizes ONVIF devices across different VLANs, displays the surveillance topology, and provides an interface for video streaming and device maintenance.

Centralized Hierarchical View
VigorSwitch automatically detects ONVIF devices and displays the topology of connected IP cameras and NVRs.
Images Viewing
You can view IP camera video directly on the VigorSwitch.
Device Management
Perform basic configuration and maintenance of ONVIF devices remotely through VigorSwitch, such as remote reboot, factory reset and network settings.
ONVIF Snapshot Alert
Monitor. Detect. Recover.

VigorSwitch automatically monitors ONVIF cameras and alerts you when a camera becomes unavailable.
The latest snapshot helps you quickly identify the affected location, and PoE auto recovery can restore camera operation automatically.
Key Benefits
- Snapshot Alerts
- Camera Monitoring
- Auto Recovery
- Faster Response
- Reduced Downtime

Quick Start Guide
Note: Stated throughput figures are maximums from DrayTek internal testing under optimal conditions, with Hardware Acceleration enabled where available. Actual performance may vary depending on network conditions and the applications in use.
Key Features
PoE (Power over Ethernet)
Deliver power and data over one ethernet cable, turn on/off the PoE device periodically with PoE Schedule.
10G SFP+
Provides 10G-capable fiber SFP+ ports for aggregation or uplinking to the core switches.
Ping Device Check
Enable Ping check to selected devices to keep monitoring on their status. If ping timeout, power cycle (if PoE enabled) the port and/or send out mail alert.
ONVIF-Friendly
Recognize the ONVIF devices, display surveillance topology, provide UI for video streaming and device maintenance. Learn more
Wire-Speed VLAN Routing
Improve overall network performance by using VigorSwitch P2280x to route the inter-VLAN traffic directly and offload the router.
IPv6 Ready
VigorSwitch P2280x supports IPv6 by offering MLD Snooping, IPv6 ACL, and IPv6 DNS Resolver.
Auto Surveillance & Voice VLAN
Recognize traffic from IP cameras and IP phones automatically and add CoS tag for QoS prioritization.
Web-Based GUI
Easily manage and monitor the network through the web-based console with graphics showing ports and hardware status.
IP Conflict Prevention
Improve network stability by avoiding IP conflicts caused by a misconfigured or malicious host. Learn more
Multiple Admin Accounts
Multiple Admin accounts with two levels of administrator privilege.
QoS (Quality of Service)
Improve the performance of critical traffic by prioritizing the traffic with CoS, DSCP, and IP Precedence tag.
Central Switch Management
Set up VLAN easily from the router and get a centralized hierarchy view of the switches. Learn more
